The title of this mini-podcast is, The Power of Attention. I couldn't care less. Maybe one of the most damaging messages we send in relationships.
And we don't always send it with words. Sometimes we send it by simply not paying attention. It usually starts innocently enough. A little less listening, a little more distraction.
And because nothing dramatic happens, we don't notice it. until, over time, the lack of attention creates a distance between people. I suspect the currency of human interaction is attention. Everybody wants it, and there's a lot of pseudo-attention being passed off as the real thing.
That was the opening. The rest of the episode (3 min) is in the player: every word clickable, with translation, saved words and flashcards.
