What one full CELPIP mock exam includes

The mock follows the CELPIP-General test: the same four components, in the same order, with the same parts and time limits.

  • Listening6 parts · 38 questions47–55 minProblem solving, a daily-life conversation, information, a news item, a discussion and viewpoints.
  • Reading4 parts · 38 questions55–60 minCorrespondence, applying a diagram, reading for information and reading for viewpoints.
  • Writing2 tasks53–60 minTask 1 is an email, Task 2 a survey response — 150–200 words each.
  • Speaking8 tasks15–20 minAdvice, a personal experience, a scene, predictions, comparing and persuading, a difficult situation, opinions and an unusual situation.

How your mock exam is scored

  • Reading and Listening are marked instantly on every attempt, with your raw score and an estimated CLB level.
  • Writing and Speaking get an AI-estimated CLB band with a breakdown across the four rating criteria. A free account includes 40 AI scorings a month, up to 20 a day — each submitted Writing or Speaking section uses one.
  • Your results stay in your dashboard, so you can see which skill is holding your overall CLB back.

CLB levels here are estimates to guide your practice. Only the official CELPIP test gives a result you can use for immigration.

How the mock compares with the real CELPIP test

  • Same structure: 20 parts and tasks across four components, in the official order.
  • Same clock: every part is timed like the real test. Practice mode lets you go untimed while you are still learning a part.
  • Computer-delivered: you answer on screen and record your speaking into a microphone, as you will at the test centre.
  • Different questions every time: full mocks draw from a bank of 8,000+ exam-style parts, so a retake is not a re-run of the same paper.

How to use mock tests in your preparation

  1. 1Take one full mock early to get a baseline CLB in each skill.
  2. 2Practise your weakest parts on their own, in practice mode, from the section pages.
  3. 3Every week or two, sit another full mock under real timing to check your progress.
  4. 4In the last week before your test, do one full mock at the same time of day as your appointment.

Frequently asked questions

Is the CELPIP mock test really free?

Yes. Taking mock exams on FlexiLingo is free and never capped. Reading and Listening are scored instantly every time. Writing and Speaking get an AI-estimated CLB band — 40 AI scorings a month on a free account, up to 20 a day.

Do I need an account?

Not for the numbered Reading and Listening practice tests on this page — start one and get your score with no sign-up. The full four-skill mock needs a free account, so your answers, recordings and scores can be saved.

How long is a full CELPIP mock test?

About three hours, like the real CELPIP-General test: Listening 47–55 minutes, Reading 55–60, Writing 53–60 and Speaking 15–20.

How many mock tests can I take?

As many as you like. Full mocks draw on a bank of more than 8,000 exam-style parts, so each one is different, and new numbered practice tests are added to this page over time.

Does the mock give me a CLB score?

Yes — an estimated CLB level for each skill. Reading and Listening are marked against the answer key; Writing and Speaking are rated by AI against the four CELPIP criteria. Treat it as a guide: only the official test gives a CLB result for immigration.

Is it CELPIP-General or CELPIP-General LS?

The full mock follows CELPIP-General, all four skills, the version used for permanent residence. If you are taking CELPIP-General LS for citizenship, practise the Listening and Speaking sections on their own.

Are these real CELPIP exam questions?

No. They are exam-style questions written for practice, following the official format, part types and timing. Nobody outside the test owner knows the questions of a real sitting.
