Fix an Out-of-Step Transcript

When the words run ahead of the audio, drag them back into place.

Open it

Many podcasts insert ads at playback time, which makes the audio longer than the transcript that was made from it. Everything after the first break arrives late.

Open the sync tool, find the line that matches what you're hearing, and the whole transcript shifts to match. There's a search box so you can jump to a line by typing part of it, and a reset if you overshoot.

When the words run ahead of the audio, drag them back into place.
In the player, open the sync dialog — a banner links to it when drift is detected.
