Desktop app
FlexiLingo on your computer
Read your own PDFs and books, listen to stories and podcasts, review your words and practise for CELPIP and TCF — all in one app. Your files stay on your computer.

Install it in three steps
Download
Press the button above. The installer goes to your Downloads folder.
Open the file
Double-click it. Because the app is new, Windows may show a blue box that says “Windows protected your PC”. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
The app opens by itself. Sign in with the same email you use on the website — your decks and progress are already there.
The Windows warning, with “More info” and then “Run anyway” marked
After that, the app updates itself: when a new version is ready, it asks you, and one click installs it.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Downloading and using the app is free. Some features need a free FlexiLingo account, and Pro works the same as on the website.
Why does Windows warn me?
Windows warns about new apps that it has not seen many times yet. The installer comes straight from FlexiLingo. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDFs and photos you open stay in the app’s folder on your computer, and text recognition for scanned pages runs on your computer too.
Do I need a new account?
No. Sign in with the email you already use on the website.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet — it is on its way. Until then, everything works in your browser.
How do updates work?
The app checks when it starts and asks before installing a new version. If you installed version 0.6 or older, download it once more from this page.
