Let's get into it. Let's unpack this. Life as we know it is full of seasons. There are times of sunshine and growth, but also times of darkness and turmoil. We all face storms, periods of intense difficulty, loss, and uphill battles. It could be a personal crisis, a health challenge, a broken relationship, or a collective of trauma. But what happens when the storm passes?

How do we pick ourselves up? How do we pick up the pieces and find our way forward in life? let's explore that the first thing to acknowledge is the impact the nature of the storm it's very imperative to understand how to validate the pain and the disruption that the storm costs acknowledge your feelings the impact don't minimize what the storm brought into your life

or what you've been through. Take that time to process your feelings. Take that time to feel the impact and acknowledge the impact that the storm had on your life. Know that there's so many forms of storms. There's different storms and different aftermaths. Recognize that everyone experiences storms differently and there's no right or way to recover. Everyone has their own

timeline. So everything that we're going over today is just kind of to give you a foundation of how to process it and strategies to rebuild. There's so many different storms. So the process is going to be different based on the storm that you experience. One of the storms is loss and grief. You know, if you love someone close to you, you're dealing with grief. Storms often bring loss,

loss of what was, loss of security, loss of loved ones, priceless precious moments that you can't get back with them. Grief is a natural part of the healing process. So let those feelings, let those emotions pass through you. Finding your footing, whether that's, you know, loss of a relationship, loss of a job, whatever, loss of financial security,

Whatever you're experiencing, find your footing. Understand how to put safety first. That is the immediate aftermath. Prioritizing your safety and knowing your basic needs.

That level of self-care and seek necessary support if needed. Seek counseling, seek friends, seek therapy. whatever you need to find your footing after the storm and take that time. It's a period of adjustment. Don't expect your life to bounce back immediately. It is a process. So please give

yourself time to process and fully healed. Rebuilding is not just bouncing back. The goal isn't necessarily to return to how things were. That's so imperative. Many people want things to go back to the way they were, but there is a new normal and it's very critical that you understand how to rebuild a new reality in your life, potentially stronger than the foundation you

had before. One of the biggest things to focus on after experiencing some challenges and changes in life is to focus on healing and recovery. Lean on your support system. Connect with people who genuinely care about you and can offer emotional support and great empathy. And if necessary, seek professional help. Therapy, counseling, or support groups can help provide valuable tools

and guidance and mindfulness and grounding and also practice techniques to stay present and manage your difficult emotions. Understand that your self-care is a priority. So prioritize activities that nourish your mind, your body, and your spirit. Anything that you can do to also have that creative expression. Use hard writing music or other forms of creativity to

process your experience. And know that after you experience the storm, you know, you may be feeling down, you may be feeling that it's hard to move forward and press on in life, but know that the growth after the storm can truly bring beauty into your life and show a level of resilience. Recognize your inner strength and capacity to overcome adversity, to overcome challenges and

triumphs and understand that there is a thing called post-traumatic growth. It's possible to emerge from a storm with deeper, a strong, deeper sense of purpose, stronger relationships, and renewed appreciation for life. So it may seem impossible when you're in the storm and you're going through all of those emotions, all of the ups and downs, but know that it is possible to

just strengthen your relationships and have a renewed appreciation for life and finding a greater meaning. Over time, you may find meaning in your experiences, perhaps by helping others who have gone through similar challenges that you've faced. So I just want you to know if you're experiencing a personal storm in your life, if life is challenging, I just want to speak to you
