And the case I'm going to tell you about today unfolded in a section of remote woods near Bucks Lake and Plumas National Forest in Northern California. According to PlumasCounty.org, the lake is known for its 17 miles of beautiful shoreline and proximity to both the Pacific Crest Trail and Bucks Lake Wilderness.
