Hello, and welcome back to the History of Egypt podcast, episode 241, Annihilation of the Wicked. In 1221 BCE, Egypt's Delta lands breathed a sigh of relief. After a month of disorder, the Libu invasion was defeated.

The Sea Peoples, five distinct groups arriving simultaneously with the Libu, were also thrown down. The royal cities of Mennefer, or Memphis, and Piramisis, could rest, knowing the danger had passed.
