Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of the Brigham Young podcast brought to you by Mormon Stories podcast. I'm Dr. John Delinn. It is September 1st, 2026. Today we are here for part three of our ongoing discussion with Dr. John G. Turner about his amazing book, Brigham Young Pioneer Prophet. As you will know, we've done 41 episodes with Dr. Turner about Joseph Smith.
And now we're on our third about Brigham Young. We've covered up through, you know, Brigham Young serving his mission for the church in the British Isles. I have a few questions or comments about that. And today we are going to be mostly focusing on chapter four of this book.
It's going to be covering sort of the Naboo period up through Joseph Smith's death. So if we have the right pace, we'll be finishing with Joseph Smith's martyrdom. And then that would put us on to chapter five next episode, which is about the succession crisis and basically chapter five and whatever we can get to.
