Oh hey, it's the guy in overalls and no shirt, Allie Ward, and I'm glad you're here every minute of this episode as a gift. So I asked around to some past ologies guests. I was like, who are you excited about in science right now?
And within like five minutes, I got two texts telling me that I needed to meet this specific ologist, like ASAP, a conservation scientist, a carnivore ecologist, an urban ecologist. They work in LA. They got their bachelor's at Cornell, a PhD at UC Berkeley.
They're now an assistant curator of community science at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. They're the co-chair also of the Hyena Specialist Group. They're also a National Geographic explorer.
That was the opening. The rest of the episode (76 min) is in the player: every word clickable, with translation, saved words and flashcards.
