Welcome to the OK Let's Learn podcast. This is a family-friendly podcast where we dive into tons of interesting topics, science, history, books, stories, and tons of different people as well. My name is Kevin O'Keeve, so today, OK, let's learn about Hinduism. Yes, a series of episodes that will basically do an overview of
different religions. And yes, Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world. It's the oldest living religion in the world. And yes, it is number three after Christianity and Islam. In my most recent episode about the ancient Indus River civilization, one of the things that they pointed to was some early evidence
that yes, Hinduism actually went possibly further back than what they think. Today the estimates are that 1.2 billion people are Hindu, which is almost 15% of the world's population. Hinduism began in South Asia, especially in the area that is now India.
That was the opening. The rest of the episode (17 min) is in the player: every word clickable, with translation, saved words and flashcards.
