Welcome back to the Catholic Sproust podcast, where we know that every day is a feast day. It's September 26, so join us for St. Cosmis and Damian, twin brothers and physicians for Christ. A man limped into a small clinic, unable to afford treatment anywhere else in the city.
He braced himself for the same answer he had already received. No payment, no help. Instead, two identical faces looked back at him with nothing but kindness. The twin brothers examined the man's leg carefully.
They treated his illness, and when he reached nervously for the few coins he had, they simply shook their heads. They wanted nothing from him. Instead, the two doctors simply leaned forward and began to tell this man about Jesus.
That was the opening. The rest of the episode (4 min) is in the player: every word clickable, with translation, saved words and flashcards.
