Hi guys, I'm Ben and welcome to today's English podcast. It's the last episode of the month, so it's time for our August pub quiz. And if you are not a regular listener of Pali Anglais, then I should explain that at the end of every month here on Pali Anglais, we do a pub quiz. This is to celebrate the classic British tradition, that is the pub quiz,
where you can go to the pub with friends, form a team, and then compete against other teams in a general knowledge quiz. The winner of the quiz often gets some sort of prize.
It could be a cash prize, or everybody gets a free drink, or something like that. So we're going to try to recreate this, even though we're not at the pub.
That was the opening. The rest of the episode (7 min) is in the player: every word clickable, with translation, saved words and flashcards.
