Chatham-Kent Health Alliance appears to be one of the more desirable hospitals to work at in Ontario. CKHA leadership held a meeting with members of the media this morning where they explained that their vacancy rate is currently sitting at 2.4%.

In total, they have 32 unfilled positions, with just under 1,200 being filled. CKHA was able to lower its vacancy rate after hiring three doctors in recent weeks and officially finishing its plan to eliminate 49 positions. When it comes to those positions, no one was fired, 19 of the jobs were already vacant,
