Provincial police have charged three people after a search warrant was executed at a Tilbury home. Last week, Lampton and Essex OPP found suspected cocaine, a firearm, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia inside the home.
A 45-year-old from Tilbury, along with a 25-year-old from York and a 24-year-old from Cambridge were arrested. Each has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, while the York resident is also facing nine firearm-related charges. The federal budget will come down on November 5th, but the parliamentary budget officer
warns that government spending will outpace the deficit. Annette Ryan says higher oil prices are providing a short-term boost, but the Globe and Mail says new spending has already used that up. School bus drivers in Chatham-Kent and Cerny-Lambton are being recognized today.
