This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human. Pushkin. I've been trying to push myself to try new things on my sabbatical this semester.
And one of the new things I've decided to try, much against my better judgment, is an improv comedy class. I assumed my natural talents as a beloved podcast host and professor would easily translate into the world of improv.
Turns out comedy is very, very hard. I absolutely adore my improv class, but it's taught me to have a lot of respect for the craft of comedy and for the people who naturally make everyone around them crack up. People like today's guest.
