So today I'm showing you the classroom routines and procedures every first grade teacher needs to teach,
and a simple five-step process for teaching them so your classroom will run smoothly all year long. So let's go. When you're planning out which procedures you want to teach your students, think about what you do every single day,
because these procedures are going to become routines that kids are going to follow all year long. And never assume that kids know how to do anything, especially in kindergarten and first grade. They need to be taught every single thing, step by step or everything you do. Things that seem obvious to us are not always obvious when you're six years old.
