I cringe every time someone says, well, everybody's a little ADHD. No, they're not. Not everybody goes through trauma. Not everybody reacts to traumatic events in the same way.

And then everybody develops ADHD as a result of trauma. ADHD is not considered low dopamine. It is not even considered a dopamine deficiency disorder. It's that we're struggling for that dopamine to stay regulated and keep doing its thing.
