Four Suitcases

It is a Tuesday in September. It is nine o'clock at night.

A family is at Vancouver airport. They are tired. They have four big suitcases.

The mother is Ana. The father is Joe. The children are Leo and Mia. Leo is twelve. Mia is six.

"Welcome to Canada," Joe says. He smiles.

"I'm hungry," Mia says.

Ana has a list on her phone. The first thing on the list is: Get to the apartment.

"We can take a taxi," Joe says.

"A taxi is expensive," Ana says. "We can take the SkyTrain. It is cheap and fast."

The SkyTrain is a train. It goes from the airport to the city. It has no driver.

"No driver?" Leo says. "Cool!"

They buy tickets at a machine. Leo reads the English on the screen. He helps his parents.
