medieval past itself and all of the wonderful people who lived before us and just an investigation of what they did with their time on earth. And so I thought that today would be a good day to celebrate all sorts of the wonderful things that have happened in the last seven years since I started this podcast. And I think it's important that we take time to celebrate because sometimes it can
really feel like the world is going to hell in a handbasket. And people in the Middle Ages felt that too. That's why there's so many illustrations and texts about the apocalypse. But in my humble opinion, as a historian, I think we're going to get through this and we're going to see better times ahead.
