Hey Bible readers, I'm Tara Lee Cobble and I'm your host for the Bible Recap. Not long ago, Jesus chose 12 of his many disciples to be in his inner circle. Eventually, Scripture starts referring to these 12 as apostles and distinguishes them from the other disciples.

Depending on who you ask, you'll get a different answer for whether the title apostle is something we can use today and if so, what that might look like.
