If you listen to the show, you know that I'm a big proponent of having a notebook where you physically write things down. You words, phrases, expressions, whatever the case may be. If you have a list on your phone, that works too, but I encourage you all to have a physical list where you write these things down. There's something about actually writing with your hand that makes things easier to retain and to recall for later use.

So I do this too when I'm talking to friends or students or even when I hear something on TV, I write it down.
