You see, Jon and Nick, they were buddies at Georgetown U who simply couldn't find a fresh lunch. So they launched a salad shop senior year and graduated with a business plan. Before Sweetgreen, kale was a Pizza Hut decoration.
Oh, and hearts of palm? We thought that was jewelry. So first, Chipotle created fast casual. Then Sweetgreen created fresh casual.
