Hi, listeners. A quick note before we begin. This season of the Duolingo French podcast is serialized. So if you haven't heard the previous episodes yet, go back and listen to them first. Also, please know that this episode describes scenes of racial violence
and hate that may be difficult for some to hear. It was the early 1930s in Munich, and Josephine was three weeks into her latest tour. But, unlike her previous shows in Europe, things were… not going well. On stage, Josephine kept dancing.
But when she finished her act, Josephine didn't show any emotion at all. She simply walked off the stage. The hate, La Inn, was getting to her.
