Jesus didn't call his disciples employees. He called them friends. And the way he defined friendship — honesty, vulnerability, sharing the deepest things — is completely different from what most of us settle for.

较难的单词(B2+)
Most of us have dozens of acquaintances and zero friends. We call that normal, but it's not. It's actually another thing driving your loneliness. All these surface-level relationships hide how isolated we are because
we're around a lot of people, but if you don't have a single person in your life who knows the worst thing about you and who loves you anyway, then you are missing out on the gift of a true friend. So, let me show you how we can start building real friendships in our lives through the
words of Jesus in John 15, 15. Here he tells his closest followers, "'I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn't confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.'"
