This is Cybersecurity Today, and I'm your host, David Shipley. Let's get started. Jordanian authorities have detained a suspected shiny hunters member known online as Ray. And Reuters reports he's now helping the FBI find the rest of the gang.
Two sources told Reuters that Saif al-Din Qadr was taken into custody last Tuesday. One source says Qadr is walking investigators through his devices and digital communications to identify his alleged co-conspirators. Another called his cooperation critical to ongoing arrest efforts. Last week, we brought you a warning from the FBI Cyber Division Assistant Director Brett Leatherman.
