Since then, multiple AI researchers have come forward to say how worried they are that this tech is unsafe. Now every day it seems like there's a new development. So how do we make sense of what's happening in AI research right now?
Today we're going to focus on the engineering of AI safety. And we wanted to hear from experts outside of the hype machine of Silicon Valley, outside of the major AI companies, scientists who are doing the dirty work of figuring out what developing safer AI even means.
