Hello, and welcome to the History of Egypt podcast, episode 237, Drinking with Consou, or The Dream Book. Back in episode 218, about halfway through Ramesses reign, we took some time to explore small stories, tales of daily life and concerns among the ordinary folk of Egyptian society.
Today, I'd like to bring you part two, a series of vignettes from life in Remesid, Egypt. We'll get to know the workers of Dear El Medina, meet some important characters for our story moving forward, and explore the omens, both positive and negative, to be found in one's dreams.
