Hello and welcome to Inside Politics, your weekly podcast on everything you need to know about San Antonio politics. I'm City Hall reporter Megan Rodriguez and today I am joined by my fellow City Hall reporter Molly Smith. Hello. And our guest today is District 10 Councilman Mark White. talking with you just over a week before the City Council votes on quite a few actually really monumental items with the new police chief, with the police union contract, and coming up this week, and then next week coming up with the actual budget
for fiscal year 2027, which starts on October 1st. So I think I wanted to start off with the property tax rate increase that could come with that and the budget item.
