On Monday, it starts to rain.
It is not a big storm. It is a small, grey rain. It does not stop.
On Tuesday, it rains. On Wednesday, it rains. On Thursday, it rains. Joe goes to work in the rain. The children go to school in the rain. Ana goes to her English class in the rain.
On Friday, Joe buys four umbrellas.
On Saturday, it rains. The family stays inside. Leo plays games on his phone. Mia draws pictures. In every picture, there is a big yellow sun.
On Sunday, it rains.
On Monday, it rains again. Mia stands at the window. She watches the water on the glass.
"I want to go home," she says.
"This is home now," Ana says softly.
"No. Home has sun. Here is only rain." Mia sits on the floor and cries.
