working with the Virginia Department of Forensic Science, that persistence paid off. They recently zeroed in on a suspect, and on September 10th of this year, they brought in Caleb Braxton, who's 28 years old. Braxton is facing some serious charges, aggravated malicious wounding, and attempted robbery. He's currently locked up at the Blue
Ridge Regional Jail, so the wheels of justice are definitely turning, even if they took a while to get rolling on. This one. It's a testament to the detectives who kept digging, even when the trail went cold all those years ago.
