Hi guys, I'm Ben and welcome to today's English podcast. On today's episode, I'm going to be telling you the story of US Airways Flight 1549, 1549, which was the plane that landed on the Hudson River. Now, the reason I'm going to talk about this amazing story is because on a recent episode

of my other podcast, Learn English With News, I told you about a nightmare situation for a passenger aboard a plane going from Greece to Germany. One of the windows smashed mid-flight, leaving the man hanging out of the window. Thankfully, he had his seatbelt on and his fellow passengers managed to drag him back onto the plane. terrible story for him. Thankfully, as I said, he seems to be okay. And it made me think of other amazing stories involving aircrafts with basically happy endings. And the one that sprung to mind was this one about this amazing flight, which ended up with a plane landing on the Hudson River. Before I tell you about it in more detail, let's take a look at some keywords.
