There's a fight a lot of us are losing in silence. Lust, porn, whatever you call it, you're not the only one. This is coming from someone who was addicted to porn for many years and by the grace of God has been set free from that.
So I get it. And I want to tell you this again. You are not the only one going through this. You aren't broken and you are not beyond hope.
Paul writes this plainly in 1 Corinthians because he knows this is a fight and it has unique power over us. And it's not to shame anyone, but it's to tell us truth
so that we can actually deal with it. So 1 Corinthians 6 says, run from sexual sin. No other sin so clearly affects the body
as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. So these people are fighting porn, a fantasy, maybe a recurring sexual temptation in total secrecy.
And they're convinced that they are the only Christian who deals with it. When in reality, you don't have to fight this alone. For me, I was hiding this sexual sin and I felt so much shame and it felt like a prison
that I couldn't share with anyone and I felt so trapped. But when I shared it, man, the liberation, the freedom that I got from that, it just changed me. And I got to tell you, sharing this, taking the steps forward, it's not going to get
fixed in a day. But we have to stop pretending that it isn't happening. When I shared it with a group of guys who knew exactly what I was going through, they were there too.
They had a problem before with pornography. And then when I shared this with them, when I brought this to the light, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. And I can promise you that you will feel the same thing.
So I want to challenge you. Tell that one person that you trust. tell that one person that's the most important step
and when you do that that is where you will see freedom happening I would love to pray for you
God thank you so much for loving us thank you so much for giving us so much grace and Lord I just pray that you would give us courage
to tell that one person to bring what is in the dark to the light we love you and we trust you and pray this all in Jesus name
Amen you
