So glad to be back. You know what? Luckily, there was a huge winter storm that prevented a lot of people from seeing this when it came out. Yeah.

So it wasn't a priority. And I'm like, you know what? God was stopping them. Those two selfish people who decided to have a kid when Silent Hill 3 was coming out.

I'll give them like five or six months. And I'll wait for it to hit Disney Plus, apparently. and I will review it then. Our son knew.

This is six years ago I think Christoph Gans said he wanted to do another one But he didn't want it to be a sequel to the first one He wanted to do like a Twilight Zone sort of thing

Where everyone has different adventures in this town And maybe it's not even the same town Which is what the games did obviously I mean, I was going to say, that's technically the concept of Silent Hill 2.

But other than that, they're all just kind of their own thing. But yeah, he really, really wanted to do Silent Hill 2. And we know he likes Silent Hill 2 because he worked in a bunch of Silent Hill 2 stuff into the first movie where it didn't really belong, like Pyramid Head.

Yeah. And I guess around this time, they were developing the Silent Hill 2 remake game. Because Gans worked with Konami to create new designs for the monsters. And they look like they're ripped out of the new game.

I feel like this was a two-for-one thing. Oh, okay. Yeah, because Pyramid Head in this looks almost exactly like the Pyramid Head in the game. A couple monsters in this look exactly like they do in the game.

so yeah and we were supposed to actually obviously January but we thought this was going to come out like two years ago

It was the first of the copycat Saw movies. And recently, I think maybe even before this review or maybe after this review, depending on what the schedule is, she's Jean Grey's mom in the beginning of X-Men Dark Phoenix who dies horribly. Very important role.

I wonder if she started doing this movie and was like, oh, well, I just did this game. No, no. And then the movie is like, wait a minute, this isn't what I just did. Yeah, okay, that, yeah.

But apparently she had an NDA with the video game. Yeah, she couldn't tell them. Yeah, she wasn't allowed to tell them, so then she auditioned for the part, and she couldn't say, like, I'm already in it.

I feel like there should be some sort of, like, agreement with the NDA saying, hey, we're making a movie to accurately represent this. And maybe we can. It should be like, hey, if you get cast in the movie version of this,

you're allowed to tell them. Maybe we can tell you guys. So they didn't get, what's his name, the writer from the first one back who, you know, killed that guy.
